Engineering properties and foundation assessment of coarse-grained soils

摘要 本文根据对粗粒土进行的大量研宄试验,把密度(孔隙比)和动力触探击数分别作为粗粒土的物理和力学性质的特征指标,讨论了影响粗粒土工程性质的各种因素。同时还对粗粒土的强度和变形怍了叙述。最后列举了几个祖粒土地基的工程实例,并讨论了粗粒土地基评价的几个主要问题。 Based on a Large amount of studies and testings of coarse-grained soils, this paper takes the density(void ratio)and the number of blows of dynamic cone penetration as the characteristic index of its physical and mechanical properties respectively. It discusses the various factors influencing the engineering properties of the coarse-grained soils. Meanwhile, it states the strength and deformation of these soils. Finally it presents case histories of coarse-grained soil foundations and discusses several main problems of assessment of them.
