The Internet -The Future Educator?

摘要 在当今时代,互联网所构建的信息公路正在撞击着传统文明的围墙,并使我们的生活发生着日新月异的变化。有关互联网与教育之间关系的一系列问题摆在我们的面前,我们应该怎样评价互联网这样一个强大的媒体?它能否象人们所预测的那样会终终取代传统的,在教室集体进行的教学,并使未来的教育成为“彻底分散的”,人机交互的远程教育呢?本文就此对网络教育的利与弊进行了客观的分析,并指出网络教育虽然具备强大的优势,但它并非完美的教育者,它与教师的合作与互补会使学习更加高效,学府更具魅力。 In the Information Age, the Internet is pounding the walls of traditional civilization, and is changing our lives daily through the information highway it is building. We are facing many questions concerning with the relationship between education and the Internet. How should we evaluate such a powerful medium? Will it, as someone predicts, gradually take the place of classroom teachers and become the future educator? Through objective analysis, the thesis shows that although the Net is a very helpful and powerful medium, it's not a perfect educator. The mutual cooperation and compensation of the Net and teachers will make schools and institutes very fascinating places.
