摘要
对采用铁鳞为原料在回转窑中预烧钡铁氧体时影响产品质量的原因进行了工艺矿物学研究。发现了钡铁氧体球团内钡迁移和除所期望的M型铁氧体相BaFe12O19外,还形成了杂相*的现象,用模拟实验结果进行了机理解释,并据此提出了解决办法,为打通该新工艺提供了基础。有关球团在进入高温区之前应尽量将球团内的FeO氧化完全以及注意窑内气氛控制等建议已为工艺采纳。这是成功地运用于工艺矿物学解决工艺存在问题的典型事例。
A mineralogical investigation on the factors affecting the quality of barium ferrite when making use of scale as raw material and preroasted in rotary kiln is introduced in this paper. The migration of barium inside the pellets and the formation of undesired phases in addition to the expected M type barium ferrite BaFe12O19 have been found. The mechanism concerned is explained on the basis of simulation test results, and the approach for solving this problem has been proposed. The suggestions on well controlling the atmospher in kiln and complete oxidizing 'FeO' present in pellets before entering into the high temperature region of the kiln have been adopted in production. This is a successful example using the process mineralogy to solve the problems existing in ferrite production.
