The growing size and complexity of modern software systems has revealed many shortcomings of existing software engineering practice, which leads to a move to component based software development. In this paper,three items of component based software reuse technology are mentioned: component library centric development model, component library related techniques, component composition based on software architecture. At last, we introduce a programming example in which these techniques are applied.
