Preparation of Pure Lithium by Vacuum Thermal Reduction and Distillation

摘要 An experiment technological process has been developed for the preparation of lithium from Li2CO3 using aluminum as reductant and Al2O3+ CaO as additive. The purity of lithium is ≥ 99.9% . The equipment comprise two parts, reduction and distillation chambers. The characterization of the apparatus was connecting reduction chamber and distillation chamber. The reduction and distillation furnace were introduced. An experiment technological process has been developed for the preparation of lithium from Li2CO3 using aluminum as reductant and Al2O3 + CaO as additive. The purity of lithium is greater than or equal to 99. 9%. The equipment comprise two parts, reduction and distillation chambers.
