During the first half of the year 2001 there were 8 more significant disastrous earthquakes occurring all over the world.Altogether in the world 17 759 people died,953 people missed,159 000 people injured and one thouthand,sixty three billion and ninety thouthand of US dollars of economic losses caused by the earthquakes.The significant disastrous earthquakes occurred mainly in India.
