Aim\ As a main contant in charge technique, the controlling of gas generating rate is studied, both Heoretically and experimentally. Methods\ Based on the theoretical and experimental research, a physical model of the burning gas generation is advanced. Test and verification of the model and its computer program was done by calculating the ballistic effect of coated nitramine and nitroguannidine propellant on 105 mm gun. Results and Conclusion The ballistic performance of coated nitramine propellant on 105 mm cannon proves a low temperature sensltive result. The condition for producing a pressure plateau is studied, which depends unpon propellants with progressive burning rate and progressive burning surface.
