介绍了白炭黑的结构特点、改性方法及其对胎面胶结构和性能的影响，简述了白炭黑在轮胎中的应用。
The advance in the basic research of structure and properties of silica in rubber industry was reviewed with 18 references. The application of silica in tire tread was briefly introduced.
