摘要
介绍了 χ( 2 ) 串级非线性 .讨论了串级光克尔非线性和串级光折变非线性的增强机制 ,并指出二阶和三阶非线性的相互转化 。
Brief introduction to chi ((2)) cascading nonlinearities is presented. The enhancement mechanisms for optical Kerr effect and the photorefractive effect as chi ((2)) cascading process are discussed. Mutual inductance between quadric and cubic nonlinearities opens possibilities for engineering optical nonlinearities.
