摘要
复杂适应系统 (CAS)理论是现代系统科学的一个新的研究方向 ,作为第三代系统观 ,突破了把系统元素看成“死”的、被动的对象的观念 ,引进具有适应能力的主体概念 ,从主体和环境的互动作用去认识和描述复杂系统行为 ,开辟了系统研究的新视野。从二十世纪系统观的发展 ,说明CAS理论产生的背景和意义 ,简要介绍CAS理论的基本观点和主要内容 ,分析CAS理论的特点及其在认识论意义上给我们的启示。
CAS(Complex Adaptive System)theory is one of the newest developments in the System Science area.As the third generation of the system thinking since 1930,it has provided a new concept,the adaptive agent,and provided a new perspective to investigate complex systems,which views the behavior of the complex system as a result of the inter operation between the adaptive agent and the environment.This paper provides a brief introduction for CAS theory,including its basic viewpoint and contents.Its implication for system thinking was also discussed.
