摘要
本文在对现有外国文学史作出评价的基础上，提出今后编写外国文学史应遵循的一些基本原则，并就内容、体例、写法。
On the basis of an appraisal of the present works of the history of foreign literature, this article puts forward some basic principles as well as suggestions about the content, style and manner of writing for the compiling of new books of the history of foreign literature.
