The paper introduces Porters latest developments in the course of peifecting his theory of competitive advantage in the late 1990s. In giving due credit to its academic contribution, the author points out the lack of extravert quality and of general practicability of the competitive advantage and puts porward different views upon Porters competitive conceptualization.
