摘要
随着西气东输这一西部大开发标志性工程的启动，我国天然气利用的一个新时代正在到来。天然气是优质的有机化工原料，在化肥等化工生产中使用天然气做原料，可以大幅度降低原料成本，提高化工产品的市场竞争力。同时，天然气又是一种多用途的优质能源，通过在发电、交通燃料、城市民用燃料等方面增加天然气消费比例，优化能源结构。特别是天然气作为一种清洁燃料，对改善城市大气环境有重要的作用。天然气的各种用途之间需要综合规划，做到资源最佳配置，使这种优质资源得到高效利用。
Along with startup of China’ s west－ east gas transmission, a new era of using natural gas is coming alone. Natural gas is excellent of organic chemical raw material. Producing chemical products such as fertilizer from natural gas can reduce cost of raw material substantially, and then make China’ s chemical products competitive. Meanwhile, natural gas is a kind of versatile and high-grade energy resource. Through increasing proportion of natural gas as fuel of electric power generation, automotive vehicle and civilian living, energy structure can be improved remarkably. Particularly, natural can play vital role in improving urban air quality for it is favorable to environment in nature. Integrated planning is needed in use of natural gas to guarantee optimal allocation and efficient utilization of resources.
