摘要
简单叙述了ATE领域的焦点问题,总结出COM技术在ATE中的巨大潜力,重点给出了用COM来转换仪器驱动程序的方法,阐述了测试系统利用该方法的优势。运行时间上的多态性支持语法上的可互换性,SCPI协会和IVI基金会正在寻求一种技术,使这种互换性能应用到ATE领域。COM技术不但给驱动器提供了展开/综合上的解决方案,而且还提供了远程访问以及其它一系列的好处。最后,为了很好地组织驱动器以及固件,提出以黑匣子的形式来使用COM技术的观点。
This paper narrates the issues and problems in the ATE field, summarizes that COM technology has incredible potential for ATE. This paper focuses on ways that COM will be used to transform instrument driver technology, and on the resulting benefits for test systems in general. Runtime polymorphism supports syntactical interchangeability. The SCPI Consortium and the IVI Foundation are currently pursuing techno- logies that promise to deliver this level of interchangeability to the ATE market. COM will also provide natural solutions for driver deployment/integration, remote access, and a variety of other benefits as well. Ultimately, COM will be used in the box to combine the functionality of driver and firmware.
