材料选用是可持续发展的关键与基础。选材时 ,不仅要考虑使用性能、工艺性能和经济性原则 ,而且还应考虑环境因素 ,实现材料的环境协调性与材料性能、成本之间的和谐统一。材料工程师和产品工程师应致力于设计、生产和使用具有环境协调性的新型材料 ,以保护环境。
The use of material is basic and main factor for continuable development. It must pay attention not only the performance, the machining technique and cost, but also the environment. The new material which has the function of environment protection, energy and resource saving should be widely used.
