This article describes the method and technology calculations for refitting a set of jack shaft gear on the ring spinning frame, producing low twisted woolen yarns with simple and efficient spinning process. The choice of technology parameters and the effect of the method are illustrated by examples. It is concluded that this method can be used to produce woolen yarns within 160 to 280 twists per meter on the ring spinning frame model BC584.
