摘要
扩充传统DBMS的功能,以适应各种应用领域,已经引起人们高度的重视。本文提出了一种扩充关系DBMS 以支持用户定义数据类型及操作的原理和方法,讨论了引入用户定义数据类型及操作后对DBMS 的影响,并介绍了一种基于数据字典的实现方案。
To be applicable to various application fields,great attention has been paid to extendedtraditional DBMS's functions.In this paper,we propose the principle and method of an extendedrelational DBMS supporting user-defined data types and operators,discuss the effect of introducinguser-defined data types and operators upon DBMS,and present an implementation schema based ondata dictionary.
