Guangzhou is developing to become an internationalmetropolis.However,a great gap between library services inGuangzhou and Hong Kong indicates that there is still a longway for Guangzhou tobecome a real metropolis.The author recommends that there should bemany small-sized libraries distributed throughout the city and a largescaled provincial ormunicipal library.
