The desalting rate has been markedly improved after the tow-stage electrostatic desalter was revamped into a three-stage desalter in the atmospheric distillation unit in the petrochemical plant of Zhongyuan Oil Field. The desalted oil containing salt of ≦3mg/L has been increased to 90% from 80%.
