Fieldbus is the focus of automation area now. Together with the development of control system, it is an inevitable trend that FCS will eventually replace DCS. According to the existing fieldbus standard, hierarchy of comprehensive automation system in power plant is explored. Integration of comprehensive automation system is discussed. Fig 1 and refs 5.
