摘要
介绍了主动网络产生的原因，以及主动网络整体的结构，给出了主动网络可能的应用，并且针对网上拍卖这一业务做了分析，指出采用主动网络所带来的性能的改善。
In this article, we discuss the reason of the emergence of active networks, introduce the architecture and give some applications in them. Then we analyze the performance of online auctions, which are implemented in active networks, comparing with the tradition networks.
