摘要
通过对小波函数、Ｍａｌｌａｔ多分辨分析等小波变换的有关概念和理论的介绍，以及对矢量量化方法的分析，提出了一种基于小波变换和矢量量化的图像编码方法，并在计算机上模拟实验，得到较好的重建效果．
By introducing the conception and theory concerning the wavelet function and Mallat multi-resolution analysis,and by analyzing the method of vector quantization,this paper presents a coding method based on wavelet transform and vector quantization. A better reconstruction result from the computer simulation is got in this way.
