摘要
定量分析了南海 36个深海现代表层沉积样品中的硅藻 ,发现主要的种有 Thalassionema nitzschioides、Chaetoceros messanensis、Coscinodiscus nodulifer、Thalassiothrix longissima、N itzschia marina和 Cyclotella spp.。根据硅藻优势种含量、丰度等特征以及 Q型聚类分析 ,大致划分为 5个组合带 ,它们主要受温度、上升流等环境因素的影响。
It’s discovered in this study that Thalassionema nitzschioides,Chaetoceros messanensis,Coscinodiscus nodulifer,Thalassiothrix longissima,Nitzschia marina and Cyclotella spp.are important diatom species by quantitative analysis on 36 surface sediment samples from deep sea of the South China Sea.According to the important species percentage,diatom individual numbers and cluster analysis,the 36 samples have been divided into five assemblage zones. Diatom mentioned in this paper was deposited in modern time and mainly belongs to tropical subtropical planktonic species,but it also contains a certain number of littoral shallow water species.The assemblage and distribution are mainly controlled by temperature and upwelling current. In the northeast of the study area,that is,west of the Bashi Strait,exists a low temperature and high nutrient salt zone,which is reflected by high subtropical contents and high abundance of diatom and low contents of tropical species.It is very possible that there is stable upwelling current. Due to numerous isles,submerged reefs and shoals in the east of the southern South China Sea,the littoral shallow water species of diatom increase in number.
