摘要
九江长虹大道第四纪地层层序齐全，露头良好，作者对剖面进行了系统的岩石地层学、磁性地层学、重矿物和粘土矿物学、地球化学研究，探讨了第四纪沉积环境和古气候演化，取得了一些新的资料和进展。
：The Quaternary successions are completely exposed along the Changhong Avenue profile of Jiujiang．A multi－disciplinary study involving lithostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, mineralogy of heavy mineral and clay mineral, and geochemistry has been conducted systematically along this profile． On this basis,the Quaternary sedimentary environment and palaeoclimate evolution have been discussed,some new data have been obtained and new progress has been made．
