摘要
本文介绍类星体3C147在1.67GHz的MERLIN图像,MERLIN在频率1.67GHz的分辨率为0”.25。该源在亚角秒尺度上呈双子源结构:中央子源C在东南和西北方向上略有延伸;北部子源B的延伸为南北方向。在成图过程中,我们没有搜索到Akujor et al.所发表的MERLIN图像上子源B向东延仲的Be部份。所得到的3C147的结构形态与329.1MHz的VLBI图像和1.67GHz的EVN—MERLIN联合阵的图像相一致。对引起子源有延伸结构的原因也作了简单的解释。
The paper presents a 1.67-GHz MERLIN map of QSO 3C147. The resolution of
MERLIN at frequency of 1.67 GHz is about 0.25 arcsec.,There is a double component structure for 3C147 on sub-arcsec scale. The central component C exteads slightly in both directions of the Southeast and the Northwest. The northern component B
extends in the S-N direction. There is no Be which appears on the 1.67-GHz MERLIN map published in the Akujor et al. 's paper. The morphology of 3C147 obtained by us
coincides with the 329-MHz VLBI map and the map of the EVN-MERLIN combined array at frequency of 1.67 GHz. The reasons causing the extensions of the components are explained simply.
