摘要
对秭归县红石岩等高植物篱笆小区天然降雨观测和人工模拟降雨试验数据分析表明：植物篱笆能有效地减少土壤侵蚀量，这种作用在大雨强降雨时尤其明显。虽然植物篱笆减缓局部地形，但植物篱笆不是减少侵蚀的主要原因。篱笆根部阻挡水流，减缓流速，减小水流的泥沙携带能力，细沟也不易形成，从而减少土壤侵蚀。
Based on statistical analysis on observation data and experimental data from contour hedgerow plots at Hongshiyan in Zigui county ,the results revealed that contour hedgerows might effectively control soil erosion.Though contour hedgerows alleviated the part topgraphy,this is not the main reasons to reduce soil erosion.Because the roots of contour hedgerows can reduce runoff velocity,sediment carrying capacity becomes smaller and rills are less likely to form,so soil loss become less.
