摘要
讨论了基于视觉、CAD和CMM的自由曲面的逆向工程,重点强调了如何将机器视觉与CAD和CMM进行系统集成的问题.以西安交通大学机械制造系统工程国家重点实验室的集成环境为背景,提出了系统结构,设计了工作流程,论证了其中的关键技术———立体视觉、曲面造型和CMM检测.这项研究将提高CMM的智能化和柔性,为逆向工程的研究开辟了一条新途径.
Reverse engineering is often required for making CAD models of machine parts where blue prints are not available. The information for an existing prototype may be digitized and duplicated with the aid of computer. This work emphasizes the integration of CAD, CMM (coordinate measuring machine) and stereo vision to duplicate freeform configurations. System hardware and software of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS) at the National Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Xi′an Jiaotong University are presented with description given to design procedure, stereo vision, surface modeling and CMM measurement all of which combined to facilitate the process of reverse engineering.
