摘要
以大量最新资料全面地概述了人类基因组计划(HGP)的研究状况 ,包括人类基因组计划产生的背景、任务、研究进展以及我国的人类基因组计划。HGP的主要任务是对人类基因组的 3× 10 9碱基对 (bp)进行测序 ,绘制人类基因组的工作图 ,进而破译人体遗传物质DNA上碱基对的生物学含义 ,弄清人类各种疾病与基因的关系。为从根本上预防人类疾病的发生、有效治疗疾病以及为人类历史的研究提供有力工具。至 2 0 0 0年 6月完成了覆盖人类基因组序列 97%的工作框架图 ,预计 2 0 0 3年完成基因的工作图。我国科学家完成了 3号染色体上 30 0 0万个bp的测序任务。我国基因资源丰富 ,应尽快加以保持和加快研究步伐。本文的目的就是使人们对HGP这一重大科技事件有全面的了解 ,深刻理解新成果的科技知识及意义。感受到“2 1世纪将是生命科学的世纪”这一科学家的预言已临近现实。
On the basis of numerous up-to-date data, this article outlined the research situation of the Human Genome Project (HGP), including not only its initial background, research assignment and progress in the world, but also the research situation of HGP in china. The main task of HGP research is to measure the order of the 3×10 9 bp in the Human Genome, map its working draft, try to interprete the biological significance of the bp in human DNA and finally understand the relationship between human diseases and genes. All these researches will provide valuable knewledge for the defence and treatment of human diseases, and provide powerful instrument for the study of human history. The June, 2000 witnessed the completion of 97% of the working draft of HGP, and the whole project was predicted to be finished in 2003.Chinese scientists has measured the order of 30 million bp in the No.3 chromosome. China is rich in gene resources, which must be seriously protected and deeply studied. The purpose of this article is to help people completely understand the importance and significance of HGP research and feel that the scientist's prophecy of “The 21century would be the century of life science.” Would become a reality.
