摘要
对北疆地区一次初雪天气的分析表明，在高空横槽转竖过程中强烈的冷平流使得降水时温度迅速下降并维持较低，为雨转雪提供了基本条件，充沛的水汽和较强的上升运动是大降水产生的主要原因。
The first snow in northern area of Xinjiang in 2000 was analyzed. It is shown that temperature rapidly drops and keeps low while it is raining because of strong cold advection caused in theprocess of upper transversal though turning vertical one,which give prerequsite for rain turning snow. And ,abundant vapour and strong ascending motion is the primary factor for torrential rain.
