摘要
针对将安徽由“农业大省变为农业强省”的提法，文章认为安徽建农业强省，不仅有些主要指标难以达到，而且不符合当今社会向工业化发展的方向。只有努力实现工业化，把建立经济强省作为经济发展的目标，才能尽快地发展安徽经济。通过控制人口数量，提高人口素质，大力发展个体和私营经济，深化国有企业改革，充分发挥安徽的优势，可以实现工业化和建立经济强省的目标。
With regard to the issue t hat Anhui province will become a powerful agricultural province from a big agric ultural one, the paper holds that it is not only difficult to realize some main goals for this purpose but also away from the orientation of industrialization i f Anhui wants to do like this. Only by realizing industrialization and taking th e establishment of a powerful economic province as a target of economic developm ent can Anhui 's economy develop as fast as possible. By controlling the populat ion growth, improving the quality of population, developing individual economy a nd private economy, deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises, bringing th e advantages into full play in Anhui, we can surely achieve the goals as a power ful economic province.
