摘要
本试验分别对波尔山羊 :2只羔羊 ,2只青年母羊 ,2只成年母羊和 2只青年公羊在舍饲条件下的行为进行了昼夜跟踪观测。结果表明 :波尔山羊的行为受年龄、性别、饲养方式和环境等因素的影响 ,因此必须根据波尔山羊不同生理阶段的特点进行饲养管理才能获得最佳生产效率。此外 ,试验结果还表明 。
A study was conducted with Boer goats to determine the influence of age ad sex on physiological and physical activities.The numbers of times and minutes spent in feeding,regurgitation,chewing,defecating,urinating,standing,wandering,resting,and sleeping were recorded.The results indicate that Boer goats were similar to other goats in these activities.All goats fed more and were more physically active during daytime than at night.Resting and sleeping times were much higher at night than during the day.Kid goats are more physically active than adult females,whereas,adult females rested and slept more than kids.Young females and young males were intermediate in these activities.Kid goats should be fed a higher quality diet to improve feeding efficiency.Adult females should be encouraged to increase activity to enhance ease of birthing.
