摘要
河口分汊作为一种十分常见的河口形态,存在于众多自然界的河口中。河口出现分汊需具备两个基本条件:一是河口的向海淤积延伸,这实质上是河口湾的被充填过程及其延续;另一个是河口的展宽,因为过于窄小没有展宽的河口是无法形成分汊的。只有具有了上述这两个基本条件,河口分汊的形成才成为可能。
There are four types of branching estuaries. They are the less-branchified, the much-branchified, the complex networks and the wandering. Each type has its own characteristics in hydraulic behaviour, plain features and sediment properties.
The causes of each type of branching esturies are also different, but there are two basic conditions that suit all the types of branching estuaries, one is the accumulating and extending of the estuaries towards the sea, and the other is the widening of the estuaries.
From the viewpoints of hydraulic and sedimentologic behavior(for example,the ratio of flood discharge to riverine discharge, tidal range and sediment concentration etc.)and topologic conditions (e. g., rocky island in the center of an estuary channal makes the estuary branchified naturally etc.), A new widening coefficiency is also adopted in this paper to discuss the topic from another angle.
Data based on many branching estuaries in the world are studied in detail.
