摘要
给出一种模型来考虑非线性色散对光通信系统的影响。数值结果表明 ,考虑非线性色散时 ,光脉冲的传播速度比不考虑非线性色散时的传播速度要快 。
The signal induced change of the refractive index in an erbiumdoped fiber amplifier (EDFA) causes a phase modulation imposed in a signal when passing the EDFA.In this paper,we apply our extended EDFA model in an optical communication system.The model includes this phase modulation,by including nonlinear dispersion in a EDFA,and spontaneous emission noise.The “one”with nonlinear dispersion is accelerated and reaches the receiver earlier than the “one” without nonlinear dispersion.However,the impulse shape does not change with nonlinear dispersion.
