地理信息系统GIS是一门以计算机为基础的新兴技术 ,围绕着这项技术的研究、开发和应用 ,形成了一门交叉性、边缘性学科 ,其在环境保护等领域的应用将有力地促进环境保护工作的开展 .作者简要介绍了GIS技术的特点以及在环境保护领域中的具体应用 .
GIS(Geographic Information System)is a new technology basing on computer.Around the development and application of this technology,it became a crossing and rim subject.It's application in environment protection will improve the development of environment protection work.This article remarks briefly the special of GIS technology and the concrete application in the field of environment protection.
