摘要
1.引言
随着计算机网络的普及,各种相关思想、理论、技术和产品层出不穷.人们正在看到,网络所采用的连接介质呈现为多样化(从电缆到光纤,从有线到无线);连接组件出现为多元化(连入网络的设备不再局限于个人电脑和工作站等传统意义上的计算机,还包括可移动的个人信息工具和通讯设备及带有嵌入式计算机的新型电子产品,如:便携式电话、数字相机、电视机顶盒和其它智能设备等);而网络的连接形式展现为多态化(从局域网到广域网,从Intranet、Internet、Extranet到Home Network等).
The Jini technology is analysed and its support for network plug and play is discussed. This paper points out that discovery protocol is the key machanism in realizing network plug-and play. Moreover, we differentiate discovery protocol from lookup protocol. At the end of this paper,related issues such as directory service,network usage,service description and filting,security,spatial scope of discovory and so on are discussed in detail.
