摘要
西方社会保障制度适应西方工业化和市场经济的发展，已历一百多年。它遵循着资本主义发展的内在逻辑，逐步由选择性走向普遍性。它有过辉煌，也出现过问题，认真考察其逻辑演变，对于我们建立与社会主义市场经济相协调的社会保障体系，无疑大有裨益。
>For more than a hundred years social security system in the west has adjusted itself to the development of western industrialization and market economy． Following the inner logic of capitalist development it gradually moves from selectivity to universality． It experienced glory and met with problems as well． A careful examination of its logic evolution will no doubt be very helpful for us to establish the social security sysytem in harmony with the socialist market economy．
