摘要
为降低局端光接收机的复杂度,提高光网络可利用频宽,利用反射式半导体光放大器的增益饱和特性对时分复用无源光网络上行信号进行光功率均衡,并测试光功率均衡器对上行光信号传输品质的影响.结果表明,光功率均衡器可使上行光功率由-15^-25 dB·m的功率变化转换成约3 dB功率变化量输出,并可大幅改善上行光信号品质.
In order to reduce the complexity of optical receiver, and improve the available bandwidthof optical network, the optical power of upstream traffic in time - division - multiplexing passive opti-cal network (TDM - PON ) was equalized by using the gain saturation characteristics of reflective sem-iconductor optical amplifier (RSOA). The influence.of the power equalizer on the transmission qualityof the upstream traffic was tested. The results show that, about 3 dB variation of output power corre-sponding to the range of - 15 to - 25 dB m upstream input power was achieved by using the pro-posed power equalizer, the quality of the upstream traffic is improved simultaneously.
