摘要
Hoed－Brown准则是国际上有名的岩体经验强度准则。考虑了应力状态对岩体破坏特性的影响，在系统介绍H－B准则在主应力平面p，q表示形式的基础上，重点对其理论意义和实际应用中的关键问题进行分析讨论，以加深对该准则的理解。
In order to help geotechnical engineers in correct application of Hock-Brown strength criterion, the paper introduces Hock-Brown strength criterion expressed in terms of principal stress p and q, and discusses on its theoretical significance and key problems is application.
