摘要
中国历史上集镇的形成和发展多与集市有关。在集镇形成后,大都保留着传统的定期集市,继续成为集镇发展的重要因素。与群众自发选择的集市发展成为集镇不同,石羊镇集市的起源与盐业相关,集市围绕着盐业的发展在盐井地兴起和繁荣,同时也促进了盐井地集镇的建设。尽管石羊镇盐产业已经衰落,但在历史上因集市传播而来的文化积淀已成为当今石羊开发旅游的重要资源,集市对于当今石羊集镇的发展便有了新的功能。
Historically,appearance of most of China＇s towns was preceded by that of fairs and regular fairs continued to exist afterwards to continue promoting development of towns. Different from most towns originating from spontaneous fairs,the appearance of fair at Shiyang could be attributed the its salt wells. As the local salt trade prospered,so did the fair and then the town nearby. Today,the local salt industry has declined,but the long cultural heritage related to salt fair and town has become a new tourist attraction.The ancient fair now has a new role to play for the development of the town.
