摘要
美国对国内西班牙裔的显性语言政策和隐性语言政策集中体现了美国语言政策的基本思想,即唯英语思想和唯盎格鲁撒克逊文化思想。本文将美国对西裔的语言政策分为四个阶段,并试图从语言问题、语言资源、语言权利以及语言与经济、政治、国家安全的视角分析这些语言政策的制定和变化的内在动因,本研究对维护我国语言的多样性也有一定的启示。
American overt and covert language policy on domestic Hispanics embodies the basic idea of the American language policy, namely, the idea of the single English and Anglo-Saxon culture. The paper expounds on the language policy on Hispanics in four stages and tries to analyze the causes from the viewpoint of language problem, language resources, language rights, the relation- ships between language and economy, language and politics, and language and national security.This research may enlighten us on maintaining linguistic diversity of our country.
