Effects of As^(3+) on Seed Germination,Seedling Growth and Antioxidant Enzymes of Two Ornamental Plants

摘要 利用水培法,采用浓度分别为0、0.1、5、10、25、50 mg/L As3+溶液对茶花凤仙和常夏石竹种子进行胁迫处理,研究不同浓度外源As3+对2种花卉种子萌发,幼苗生长的状况及抗氧化酶系统的影响。结果表明低浓度As3+(0.1 mg/L)对2种花卉种子萌发具有激活促进作用,高浓度As3+(50 mg/L)具有明显抑制效应;幼苗根长、芽长随着As3+浓度不断升高,生长受抑制。低浓度的As3+能够提高SOD、CAT的活性,随着浓度增大SOD、CAT表现为抑制效应;POD随着浓度增加激活效应逐渐增强。砷处理下,三种抗氧化酶均可被激活来抵抗砷的胁迫,其中过氧化物酶(POD)起关键作用。 The germination, seedling growth and antioxidant enzymes of two ornamental plants was studied under Arsenic stress. The results showed that As3+ improved seed germination of two ornamental plants at low concentration and inhibited seed germination at high concentration. As3+ inhibited growth of the root and the bud with the concentration increase. Activities of CAT and SOD were increased at low concentrations but inhibited when concentration of As3 + increased . POD was stimulated by the raise of Arsenic concentrations. It could be concluded that POD plays an important role in the tolerance to arsenic stress among the three antioxidant enzymes.
