摘要
传统的图书馆集成系统OPAC已经不能满足网络时代用户的需求,开放图书馆环境项目(Kuali OLE)作为正在研发的下一代开源图书馆集成系统之一,文章对它的研发目标、特点和架构是否符合当前及未来的图书馆发展趋势,在文中进行了探讨,并认为其设计理念和合作模式对我国的图书馆集成系统的发展有很好的借鉴意义。
Traditional integrated library system OPAC cannot satisfy the user＇s needs in network times, and the Open Library Environment Project （Kuali OLE） is one of being developed next generation of open source integrated library system, if its developed objectives, features and architectures can meet the current and future library developing trends are discussed in this paper. The author thinks that its design concepts and cooperation model have a good reference to the development of Chinas integrated library system.
