摘要
通过调查2001年-2010年国内两种主要的中小学阶段外语教学研究核心期刊发表的中小学英语教学论文中统计分析方法的使用特点,发现近年来使用定量分析的分析方法的中小学英语教学文章总体呈增长趋势,同时中小学外语教师的统计分析方法和软件使用水平较低,存在很多不规范之处,对于量化研究科研方法的了解不够。结果表明基础教育外语教师教学科研水平亟待提高,对教师发展和培训也提出了相应的启示。
This study is a longitudinal survey of the statistical methods used in the papers on EFLteaching published in 2 key Chinese basic education EFL journals from 2001 through 2010. The use ofstatistical methods in basic education EFL presents a roughly upward tendency. The primary and sec-ondary school EFL teachers are not skilled users of statistical methods and softwares. They cannot usestandard statistical methods for lacking sufficient knowledge. The findings show that basic education EFLteachers should promote their research and the teacher development and training should be adjusted ac-cordingly.
