Cutting Tool Angles' Influence on Cutting Force in Machining TC4 Titanium Alloy

摘要 基于Deform建立了硬质合金刀具切削TC4钛合金时的仿真模型,通过切削试验对仿真模型的主切削力进行了验证,并利用该模型对刀具角度与切削力之间的关系进行了研究。研究结果表明:仿真所得到的主切削力与试验测得主切削力相差小于10%,仿真模型可靠性较高,可用于TC4钛合金切削力的研究。通过仿真研究得到,在一定范围内,随着刀具前角的增大,主切削力和进给力明显减小;刀具后角的增大对主切削力影响不明显,但对进给力的影响比较明显。 The simulation model of cutting the TC4 titanium alloy by the cemented carbide tools was built based on De- form. The simulation model of the main cutting force was verified through the cutting experiment, and the relationship be- tween the cutting tool angles and the cutting force was studied by the simulation model. The results show that: The error between the main cutting force obtained by the simulation and obtained by the experiment is less than 10%. The simulation model, which has high reliability, can be applied to research on the cutting force in machining the TC4 titanium alloy. The results obtained by simulation show that: Within a certain range, the main cutting force and the feed force decrease obvi- ously with the increase of the cutting tool rake angle ; With the increase of the cutting tool relief angle, the influence on the main cutting force isn' t obvious, but the influence on the feed force is more noticeable.
