摘要
选择一条什么样的城市化道路一直是中国学术界讨论的热门话题。只用人口规模的单一指标来确定城市发展战略是不够的。在一个新的关于城市发展水平指标体系的基础上 ,对中国的 2 2 6个地级及以上级别的城市作了实证研究 ,并提出了相关的政策建议 ,认为重点应是发展具有更大规模效益的城市。
Urbanization is one of the hot issues in the process of modernization of China. This paper first shows that it is not enough to only use population size to determine the strategy of urbanization, and then proposes a new index system of the development level of Chinese cities, which is applied to classify the cities. Also, this paper stresses that the cities with bigger returns of scale should be given to priority.
