This paper summarized the intercommunication of intestinal flora and host metabolim and made comprehensive analysis of the metabolism of carbohydrate, lipid, protein, vitamin and mineral, etc. Through the analysis of these correlation we can fully understand the interactions of metabolism of gut microbiota and host, and provide the theoretical basis and intestinal flora reference for the animals research in order to improve the economic efficiency of industrial production of probiotic starter culture for animal.
