将 OLE/COM技术应用于过程控制与自动化将是本世纪工控领域的一次技术上的重大飞跃。本文主要讨论了在 OPC规范的实现中通用接口的定义以及与 OPC服务器的安装与注册相关的几个关键问题，详细讨论了有关组件目录和注册路径的注意事项。文中以 OPC Alarm＆ EventsHandling服务器为例，给出了其在目录管理器中进行注册的实例。
It would be a great technological breakthrough for OLE/COM technology to be put into fields of process control and automation in this century. This paper mainly discusses the definition of OPC common interface as well as several key problems associated with the installation and registration of OPC server in the implementation of OPC specification. The corresponding important items of component category and register entry are focused on. In case of OPC Alarm＆ Events, the example of its Registration in Components Categories Manager is given.
