摘要
近年来对安宁河断裂带冕宁以北段的深入研究发现,该断裂具有明显的晚第四纪活动性,而且具有使地面发生断层作用,形成断层陡坎的潜在地震危险性。该断层具有明显的几何学和运动学的不连续性,从而使之进一步分成几个彼此独立的断层段,分别具有各自的潜在地震危险性。古地震研究发现,野鸡洞段的潜在地震危险性最大,其震级大致为7级。
The thorough investigations in recent years on the north segment of Mianning,Anning- he Fault Zone indicate that this fault zone features notable Late Quaternary activities,and potential seismic risks which could generate ground faulting and form scarps.The fault zone is also characterized by clear geometric and kinematic discontinuities which separate itself into several independent segments each with its own potential seismic risks.The palaeo -earthquake studies show that the Yejidong segment exhibits maximum seismic risks,with magnitudes of about 7.
