摘要
1990年7月13日和8月4日在四川省洪雅、金口河、峨边等县(区)交界处先后发生了4.8级和5.0级地震。乐山市地震部门紧紧依靠当地政府,在震前做了较好的准备,震后对地震趋势做了较准确的判定,取得了较好的社会效果。本文概述了这两次地震前后的有关情况。
On July 13 and August 4,1990,earthquakes of M 4.8 and M 5.0 occurred separately in the bordering area of Hongya,Jinkouhe and Ebian counties (districts),Sichuan Provin- ce.The Seismological Office of Leshan City,relying closely on the local government, made appropriate preparations before the earthquakes,and made fairly accurate assessments of post-quake tendency of seismicity,achieving good social results.The general situations before and after these two earthquakes are outlined in this paper.
