The measurement of liquid level height by using ultrasonic is a measuring technique with high precision and low cost. An ultrasonic liquid level indicator that we developed was introduced in this paper. It included the principle and systematic structure, as well as the design of its software and hardware. A filtering algorithm suitable for 89C51 single_chip microcomputer data was proposed.
